About AWP Ministries

started officially in 1996 after the Impact conference. After being challenged by some brothers in the Lord to use the gift that God has blessed us with, Antiworld was born.

The Members

The members include Ronnie Holliday (Crucified), Erik Hopkins (G.L.P.), and Gregory Wilkerson (mentor/manager). There were as many as eight members at one time but since then only three remain. There has been one addition Anthony Lemon (Scott Free) the producer for the ministry. Crucified is the director of ministry for Antiworld. He is the minister that God gives the direction of the ministry. G.L.P. is the director of public relations for the ministry. Greg Wilkerson is the spiritual advisor, manager, and website designer. Scott free is the minister of music for the group (the hip-hop minstrel).

The Mission

The Mission of this ministry is to see men and women in the hip-hop generation trust Christ as Lord and Savior. The way we do this is by placing hip hop lyrics filled with scripture and biblical references sort of a sermon set to music to reach this hip-hop generation. We also strive to build up and restore those who are already believers. The Christian life can be challenging at times and our ministry want to spur believers on to good works (Heb 10:24)

The Work

Antiworld has ministered at over 100 churches, conventions, youth rallies, and on the street ministry in and around the Chicago area. This ministry has touched many young people and adults alike. Even with the performances, street ministry, and outreaches, there is a tremendous amount of work to be done. We haven’t even put a dent in the number of people who need to be confronted with the gospel.

Future Goals

We are currently working on our first CD entitled: "Let the People Decide" . LPDis a project that inspires listeners to make a decision about God based on the proof he as already provided to us and still makes known to us each day. We are praying for God to allow us to do this Full-time as our lives work.
